ARCH Talks

In coordination with the State and County “Safer at Home” COVID-19 ARCH orders and advisories, ARCH has partnered with Rio Hondo College’s (RHC) Student Health & Psychological Services and Disabled Students Programs & Services Department to co-facilitate on-line support groups. Each support group offers a space for students to gain support while dealing with not only the COVID-19 pandemic, but also the stress of navigating college courses online. ARCH shares RHC’s vision to increase the number of support groups in the coming semesters. All Transitional Age Youth (TAY) between the ages of 18 – 25 years are eligible to participate in a support group.

Topics to discuss in support groups include (but will not be limited to):

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Navigating school online
  • Being at home all day
  • Global pandemic daily changes
